"Let's see if they can predict the road to just who will be our next President" said J. Sanchez. "The added interest in these teams will focus even more attention to the plight of missing and abducted children" proclaimed Jeff Griesemer, CEO of Child Rescue Network. While networking, having fun, and experiencing America like never before each team is assigned a missing child from their region. The mission; distribute missing child posters and bring as much positive awareness, in an effort to aid in the recovery of your missing child. The Race To Recover America\'s Missing Children, is an awareness campaign for the Child Rescue Network, a Florida based not for profit. It's like Amazing Race meets the Cannonball Run. Teams navigate the country by solving clues, completing tricky missions, and even racing their cars on some of America's most challenging race tracks. The Fireball Run is a 3500 mile 9 day live interactive automotive adventurally which also aids in the recovery efforts of America's missing youth. The \"HIGH MEDIA\" event begins with a VIP reception September 25th 2008 at the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge, followed by a city wide celebration of cars on the 26th, then Mayor "Kip" Holden will waive the green flag September 27th sending nearly 75 vehicles of all types, including the "Back To The Future II Time Car", along a 3500 mile, 7 city, transcontinental adventure of a lifetime. Ending 7 days later in Grand Rapids Michigan as Mayor George Heartwell waives the ceremonial checkered flag finishing the rally thus ending this year's Race to Recover America's Missing Children. The 2008 event will have stops in Shreveport, LA, Jackson, MS, Hoover/ Birmingham, AL, Tupelo, MS, St. Louis, MO, and Westmont/Chicago, IL.
